Remy Weft Hair Extensions – Choosing, Attaching & Maintaining Like a Pro
1. Density: How Much Hair Do You Really Need?
Rule of thumb is always grams, not “pieces”. Our single weft is 100 g (pure hair, no cloth tape).
• Thin/fine natural density (≤ 90 g on whole head)
– 1 × 100 g weft for length only (no layering)
– 1.5–2 wefts (150–200 g) for length + volume
• Medium density (90–120 g own hair)
– 1.5 wefts for length; 2–2.5 wefts for fullness
• Thick density (≥ 120 g own hair)
– 2 wefts minimum to avoid “stringy” ends; 3 wefts for glam length & density
Special cases
• Blunt one-length cuts: add 0.5 weft extra
• Curly/wavy textures: order 10 % more weight because curl takes up length
2. Colour Match Without Guesswork
Step 1: Identify under natural daylight, roots to ends.
