HairNotion Technical Specification
“High-Quality Human Hair Wig” – Natural Look, Comfort, Durability, Undetectable Hairline

  1. Hair Raw Material
    • 100 % Remy human hair, single-donor, full cuticle intact, aligned root-to-tip.
    • 8A–10A grade; chemical-free, silicone-free, <5 % grey content.
    • Tensile strength ≥ 0.18 N/strand; wet combing loss < 5 mg/100 g (internal QC STD-2023).

  2. Base Architecture (client-selectable)
    A. Swiss Lace Front (64 g/m²)
    – Imported 20 denier ultra-fine polyamide filament, honeycomb hexagonal mesh.
    – 45 holes/inch density → 0.8 mm hole diameter; knot visibility index (KVI) < 0.3.
    – Melting point 230 °C; colour palette 6 translucent shades for seamless skin match.

B. Thin Skin Perimeter (0.03 mm PU)
– Medical-grade, hypo-allergenic polyurethane; shore hardness 00-40.
– Elongation at break 650 %; breathable micro-pores 90 pores/cm² → 8 mg/cm²/h MVTR.
– Edge taper 0.01 mm (“Feather-Edge”) to eliminate ridging; bonded zone width 8 mm.

C. Hybrid Combination
– Lace front 40 mm deep, thin skin side & back 15 mm, mono top centre for multi-directional parting.
– Transition zone laser-welded, no abrasive overlap; total base weight 45–55 g (size M).

  1. Knotting Technology
    • Single split knots on lace front 0.5 mm from edge (1 hair per knot); 6–8 hairs per forward-facing micro-injection on skin perimeter → “no-return” visible knot.
    • Double reverse knots on mono top for 360° styling freedom; knot size 0.3 mm.
    • Bleached-small knots #1B–#4 using non-acid 3 % NH4OH + 2 % KMnO4; cuticle integrity retained (protein loss < 2 %).
    • Hair density graduation: 90 % (front 1 cm), 100 % (mid-scalp), 130 % (crown), 80 % (nape) → natural silhouette.

  2. Comfort Engineering
    • 4-way stretch panel (spandex 180 g/m²) at nape; 25 % elongation prevents lift during jaw movement.
    • Anti-slip silicone tabs (shore A 25) at temple & occipital; peel adhesion 1.2 N/cm, reusable 100 cycles.
    • pH-balanced perimeter tape channels; no edge fray after 30-cycle shampoo test (ISO 23383).

  3. Durability Metrics
    • Knot slippage < 1 % after 5 kg pull-test, 30 s.
    • Base tear strength: lace 12 N, PU 22 N (ASTM D751).
    • Hair shedding < 5 strands/day after 50 shampoos (40 °C, 10 % SLES).
    • Expected life: 8–12 months daily wear with 4-week service rotation.

  4. Natural Look Index
    • Hairline transition zone 0 mm (lace melts into skin without ridge).
    • Optical reflectance difference between hair and base < 2 % under 550 nm daylight.
    • Scalp visibility score 9/10 (blind test, 30 panelists, 1 m distance).

  5. Customisation Options (factory-direct, 3-week lead)
    – Hair origin: Brazilian, European, Mongolian.
    – Density: 80 %–180 % in 10 % increments.

  6. Care & Warranty
    • 7-day “no-questions” replacement; 3-month free re-knotting service.
    • Recommended maintenance kit: sulphate-free shampoo, pH 5.5 conditioner, wide-tooth comb, low-heat (<160 °C) styling.

Every unit ships with QC report, unique serial QR for traceability, and a complimentary 0.03 mm thin skin adhesive sample.
HairNotion factory-direct pricing, no middle-tier markup; bulk or single-piece orders welcomed.

Factory Craftsmanship

high quality human hair wig

As Senior Hair Replacement Specialist and Factory Manager at HairNotion, I’m proud to share how our manufacturing process delivers consistently exceptional human hair wigs—built from the ground up for quality, precision, and reliability. Our advantage isn’t just about materials; it’s about how we build every piece, with rigorous structure and human expertise at every step. Here’s how:

1. Four Specialized Craft Worker Groups: Expertise Without Compromise

We don’t generalize roles. Each stage of production is handled by dedicated specialists who master only their craft:
Hair Selection & Preparation Team: Experts in sourcing, sorting, and prepping raw hair. They match texture, color, and cuticle alignment with laser-focused precision—no guesswork, just science-backed consistency.
Wefting & Sewing Specialists: Highly trained artisans who hand-sew hair onto bases using proprietary techniques. They control density, direction, and knotting tension to eliminate shedding or thinning spots.
Cap Construction Technicians: Focused only on creating the foundation. They engineer breathable, lightweight caps with reinforced edges and adjustable straps—ensuring comfort and longevity from day one.
Finishing & Styling Masters: The final gatekeepers. They refine the wig’s shape, texture, and movement with precision cutting, heat styling, and detailed inspections before it leaves our facility.

This separation prevents skill dilution. A wefting specialist doesn’t handle cap construction, so their focus remains razor-sharp. No shortcuts, no cross-contamination of expertise.

2. Separate Production Lines: Isolated Precision, Zero Cross-Contamination

Every wig moves through dedicated, self-contained production lines—not a chaotic shared workspace. For example:
– Line 1 handles hair preparation and wefting in a climate-controlled environment to preserve integrity.
– Line 2 is dedicated solely to cap assembly, with sterile tools and no hair handling to avoid debris.
– Line 3 focuses exclusively on final assembly and styling, with technicians trained only in finishing techniques.

This isolation eliminates errors from rushed transitions or mixed processes. A single wig never shares equipment or space with another stage, so no dust, oils, or inconsistencies slip through. It’s like having separate surgical suites for each step—every move is intentional, clean, and traceable.

3. Strict QC: 12-Point Verification from Raw Hair to Retail

Quality control isn’t a final check—it’s woven into every phase. Our process includes:
Incoming Material Inspection: Every batch of hair is tested for pH balance, cuticle integrity, and tensile strength before processing. Rejects are immediate.
In-Process Checks: At each production line, specialists perform spot audits: density measurements, knot security tests, and cap seam inspections. If a single stitch is off, the piece is reworked or discarded.
Final 12-Point Verification: Before packaging, every wig undergoes:
– Visual inspection for color consistency and strand uniformity
– Tension test on all wefts and edges
– Fit assessment on mannequins (no slipping, no pressure points)
– Heat resistance check (tested with professional styling tools)
– Microscopic review of root area and parting lines
– And more—no wig leaves without passing all criteria.

This isn’t a box-ticking exercise. Our QC team has 15+ years of experience and reports directly to me. If a wig fails even one check, it’s recycled or reprocessed—no exceptions. We’ve never shipped a substandard piece, and we never will.

Why This Matters for You

As a factory-direct partner, you get more than a wig—you get guaranteed reliability. Our structure means no middlemen, no inconsistent batches, and no surprises. Every piece is built with the same meticulous care, whether it’s your first order or your thousandth. That’s the HairNotion promise: craftsmanship engineered for excellence, delivered straight from our facility to your hands.

We don’t just make wigs. We build trust, one detail at a time. Let’s discuss how this process serves your needs.

Usage Guide & Tips

Factory-Direct Advisory – no middle-man, no marketing fluff

1. Density: how much hair is really “enough”?

Density = % of hair knotted per square inch, NOT the hair’s own thickness (that is “denier”).
Our stock densities: 80 %, 100 %, 120 %, 130 %, 150 %, 180 %.

Rule of thumb – choose the density that matches the client’s bio-hair at the crown, then graduate lighter toward the hairline.

Scalp/age reference
• 18-30 y: bio density ± 130 %
• 30-45 y: 100-120 %
• 45+ or medical hair-loss: 80-100 % (lighter = more realistic, cooler, longer knot life)

Hair style reference
• Pixie / short layered: 80-100 %
• Shoulder-length bob: 100-120 %
• Long beach wave: 120-130 %
• Glam wave / Insta-photo shoot: 150 % (use 180 % only for film; daily wear looks helmet-like)

Factory note: we always ventilate 5-10 % extra in the crown; after first shampoo the knot contracts and drops to labelled density.

2. Colour: keep it simple, keep it matchable

  1. Root-to-tip colour
    – 90 % of returns happen because the client picked an “iced” or “ash” fashion colour that later oxidises warm.
    – For first-time wearers, stay within 1-2 levels of their natural level (1 = black, 10 = lightest blonde).

  2. Grey %
    – Under 30 y: 0-5 %
    – 30-40 y: 5-15 %
    – 40-55 y: 15-30 %
    – 55+ : 30-60 %
We knot grey hair in the perimeter first—temple, side burns, nape—so the part still looks youthful.

  3. Highlight pattern
Factory can do 3-tone (root, mid, tip) or 5-tone “balayage” on any base.
Key: keep highlight width ≤ 1 cm; wider wefts photograph well but knot visibility increases.

3. Attachment menu – pick ONE primary method

A. No-trace daily (clips)
6 silicon-backed clips sewn at factory. Life: 12-18 months. Good for 80-120 % density; heavier wigs pull.

B. Semi-perimeter tape
1” wide German blue tape, 4-6 pcs, changed weekly. Life: 4-6 weeks per tape set. Skin bases < 0.08 mm only.

C. Full-bond polyurethane (AKA “glue” perimeter)
0.06-0.08 mm poly strip, 1 cm wide. Bond: Ghost-Bond or Ultra-Hold 3-4 weeks.
Factory tip: request “scored poly” – micro-perforations let sweat evaporate, lift rate drops 40 %.

D. Integration (pull-through)
For clients with 30 %+ bio hair. We net the top, leave 1×1 cm holes. Density capped at 100 % to avoid bulk.

E. Medical silicone grip (no adhesive)
1 cm medical-grade band sewn inside perimeter. Great for chemo patients; lasts 500 removals.

4. Cleaning – the 10-day cycle that doubles life

Before wash
1. Detangle from ends up with wide-tooth comb.
2. Secure lace with paper towel + wig head; never soak lace directly in basin—knot swelling loosens 10-15 % hairs.

Wash
• Water ≤ 30 °C, sulfate-free shampoo 1:15 dilution.
• Emulsify in hands first, stroke downward; do not circular scrub.
• Rinse 2 min minimum until water runs clear.
• Condition mid-shaft to ends only; keep 2 cm away from knot.
• Towel blot, do not wring.

Disinfect (bond users)
• 70 % isopropyl spray on poly perimeter, air dry 5 min—kills bacteria that break glue down.

Dry
• Hood dryer 40 °C, 50 % dry, then room-air finish.
• Never sleep wet; damp hair + pillow friction = 30 % more shedding.

Deep care (every 4-5 wears)
• Mix 1:1 argan + jojoba oil, 5 drops per 10″ length, steam 10 min (hand-held garment steamer 20 cm away).
• Follow with cool rinse; closes cuticle.

Storage
• Canvas block 1 cm smaller than head circumference to keep stretch.
• Silk bag + 5 g silica gel; avoid ziplock—mildew risk.

5. Timeline expectations (factory data)

With correct density, colour match, and 10-day wash cycle:
Lace front mono-top, 120 % density, 14″ – 9-12 months daily wear before first repair.
Full poly perimeter, same spec – 6-8 months (poly yellows, not hair).
Repair: we re-ventilate 20 % loss at factory for 18 USD/inch, 2-day turn.
