If the client wants to wear the pleased toupee, need to consider some conditions such as how to use the tape, how to measure or cut the size, and how to choose a reasonable base type…… if want a good base type, need to consider some conditions such as naturality, breathability, and durability… if you want to clearly understand these characteristics, let’s know the advantage and disadvantages of different net materials first.

Now mainly net material in a market popular as lace, mono, welded mono, PU, fishnet…Here we will elaborate on the characteristics of different net materials and toupee base types’ different advantages.

MONO

Fine Mono, net hole small, the net line easy to run apart, so usually used in a base center or top area, the fine mono net is thicker, which is fit for medium or higher density. Fine mono is the most popular net material used in combinations of base types such as fine mono around clear poly; fine mono around poly-coated…..

Superfine mono, net hole smaller than fine mono, another feature is same as fine mono. the other mono is fine welded mono， which can be used alone to make wigs. the net line can not easy to run apart. but it is a little stiff. but this base is durable.

 Welded Mono

Some clients don’t like it, but welded mono is many client’s favorite base types

The welded mono net line is welded, would not run to loose, can be full welded mono base or front welded mono base type

Square net hole, net material is a little stiff, and the advantage is model radian is very good. after bleaching can get the natural toupee. We supply stable stock for all colors, main market is Europe and USA

LACE

Lace net material usually include swiss lace and french lace

Swiss lace is thinner, we also named super fine swiss lace, it is thin and invisible; if the client wants an invisible natural base and can accept light density(80%) or less, swiss lace is a good choice. We don’t advise swiss lace density of more than 100%(light to medium). if light density with the tiny knots and bleached, the client can get a supernatural base

French lace we also named super fine french lace, which net line just a little thicker than swiss lace, so the french lace is more durable, useful time is longer and can afford higher density than Swiss lace, but we don’t advise french lace density more than 130%(medium) density

if knot tiny knots and bleached, can get the invisible knots, solace usually uses in the front area, the client will get the natural invisible hairline. Also, many clients like the all lace base toupee, lace net line would not run to loose, can be as the full base and cut to any size to be fit for the client.

SKIN (PU)

In fact, Pu is the liquid glue, that becomes stiff after baking, usually, workers smear the liquid put on Mould， after drying, get the different thickness PU; after knotting the hair, get the PU toupee.

Pu also named clear poly, poly, skin… usually, PU can be knot the knots and Vlooped;

 and different knots type correspond to different skin thickness — PU thickness classification:

0.02-0.03mm ultra-thin skin, now is the thinnest skin thickness, just can supply all VLOOPED, useful time is 1-2 months

0.04-0.06mm super thin skin, skin thickness is thin and useful time is longer, can supply all VLOOPED and tiny KNOTS, useful time can be for 1-4 months. Surely knots skin useful time is longer. 0.04-0.06mm super thin skin is a hot sell now.

0.10-0.12mm thin skin, can be supply VLOOPED and KNOTS, but this skin thickness client mainly like knots skin base with invisible v-looped front hairline, can get the natural invisible front hairline and longer usage time, can be 2-4pcs per year

0.14-0.16mm regular skin, usually tiny knots, the useful time is 2-3pcs per year. Regular skin is not the glamorous type, this skin thickness is durable but easy to see the skin base when the client wears regular skin.

0.18mm- , if skin thickness more than 0.18mm, we named thick skin, we don’t advise client order thickness more than 0.18mm skin, if need the longer useful time, can be try the gauze skin, we can add one layer gauze in skin, it will be more durable, the whole thickness can be reach about 0.12mm, can be 1-2 pcs per year. If gauze skin, just can knot tiny knots

Poly Coated

Poly-coated is also named poly coating or NPU, the way is one kind of net material make in poly, for example fine mono make in poly, we can named poly coated; lace make in poly, we also can named poly coated, means net material coated the poly, it is one layer net + one layer poly. It is durable, and not easy to tear, usually the location is around the toupee or full cap, and easy to use the tape

Fish Net

Fish Net also named PE line, can supply 5mm, 7mm, and 10mm size fishnet. Usually female clients order more, hair knots on fishnet line, customers thread their own hair into the mesh to wear
